Opulent and thick, velvet curtains in a deep burgundy hung from the ceiling along the edges of the bed. They were currently tied back, but could be released to fall closed and cut off all outside light if desired. Plush pillows and a matching down-filled blanket made of soft silks now made the bed extremely inviting. No longer simply a place to sleep, but a place one might relax and intentionally spend time reclining in for simply the comfort of doing so. The bed was also bigger, taking up almost the entirety of the designated sleeping area and allowing for at least two, if not three, people to sleep if anyone so desired.
